Plantation Drive Organized in Anantnag as Part of Swachhta Pakhwada
Swacchta Pakhwada continues its Momentum in Anantnag
Anantnag, August 12: The Directorate of Ayush Kashmir, in partnership with the J&K Biodiversity Council and the J&K Forest Research Institute, today organized a series of plantation drives across various locations in Anantnag as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada initiative.
Plantation drives were held at the Ayush Health and Wellness Centres in Utroorsu, Cheerpora (Shangus), and Ranipora, Anantnag, bringing together officials, staff, and local residents to plant saplings and promote environmental conservation.
This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, while fostering a sense of community engagement towards creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.
Notably, the Swacchta Pakhwada is into its second week in Anantnag and so far the enthusiasm and participation from people and government departments has been high.
