First Batch of Amarnath Yatris Flagged Off Amidst Enthusiasm and Tight Security from Anantnag
Anantnag, June 29 (JKSW): The inaugural group of Amarnath Yatris embarked on their spiritual journey today as they were ceremoniously flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag, and other officials from the civil and police administration.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and fervor as the Yatris, echoing chants of “Bum Bum Bhole” and other devotional hymns, set out towards the Chandanwadi base camp.
In collaboration with the administration and police, the Shrine Board has implemented stringent security measures to ensure the well-being and safety of the pilgrims throughout their pilgrimage.
The focus of these arrangements is to create a secure environment for the Yatris, underscoring the commitment of the district administration to facilitate a smooth and trouble-free Yatra experience.
