Closing ceremony of Kabaddi Tournament organised by RPHQ Anantnag

ANANTNAG,March,12:-In a bid to promote sporting culture among youth and host the sports culture as well as to impart a sense of discipline and sportsmanship among youth,the Range Police Hqrs Anantnag held Range Level Kabaddi Tournament at Govt.Degree College Anantnag under Civic Action program
The tournament commenced on 06/03/2024 and culminated on 09/03/2024.The tournament was participated by (08) teams from South Kashmir Range. Final match was played between Kulgam-A and Shopian-A in which Kulgam-A defeated Shopian by 50 points.
Today,the closing ceremony of the event was held at RPHQ Anantnag in which cash prizes/trophies and mementos were distributed among the winning/runner up teams besides, prizes were also distributed among man of the final match,man of the series and match officials.The participating teams lauded the role of police for organizing such events and urged for conducting these event in future also.
